The shopping center will cover an impressive 65,000 square feet. Publix Supermarket will take up a substantial 49,000 square feet of this space. Publix has a rich history dating back to its foundation in 1930 by George W. Jenkins. Since its beginnings in Winter Haven, Florida, the supermarket chain has grown exponentially. Today, Publix boasts over 1,200 locations across seven southeastern states: Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Virginia.

Publix offers a comprehensive selection of groceries, including fresh produce, bakery and deli items, meat and seafood, and health and beauty products. Many locations also feature pharmacies and liquor stores, enhancing the convenience for shoppers.

Location History

The corner of U.S. 280 and Veterans Parkway, where the shopping center is being developed, was created in the late 1990s when Veterans Parkway was paved. Since then, this 12-acre site has remained untouched and undeveloped. Its transformation into a bustling shopping center, anchored by a high-quality supermarket like Publix, marks the first major development for the site.
