A new Fuel Maxx Convenience Store is planned for 6010 Katy Hockley Rd, in Katy, Texas. This 8,634-square-foot facility is scheduled to begin construction in January 2025, with an expected completion date of December 2025 according to TDLR filings. The project is estimated to cost $800,000.
Fuel Maxx, a family-owned business established in 2012, has steadily grown across the Houston area. This new location in Harris County is expected to provide fuel and essential goods to the community, complementing the surrounding residential developments. The store will also offer additional services typical of modern convenience stores.
The design of the store will focus on creating a functional and welcoming space for everyday customers. It will include features such as a Beer Cave and a fountain area, similar to other Fuel Maxx locations.
The area around Katy Hockley Road is primarily residential, with ongoing development. The new Fuel Maxx will serve both the local community and commuters traveling through this part of Katy.
