McKinney Will Welcome a New Whole Foods at This Location

McKinney, Texas, is welcoming a new Whole Foods at the southeast corner of US Highway 380 and Custer Road. The store will anchor the West Grove shopping center, a mixed-use development covering 600,000 square feet of retail, dining, office, residential, and entertainment spaces. This marks the first major construction project on land that has remained farmland since the 1950s, according to historical aerial photos.

The new Whole Foods will span approximately 48,000 square feet, with construction expected to be complete in January 2025, as detailed on the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) website. Whole Foods, founded in 1978, now boasts over 500 locations and has been part of the Amazon family since its acquisition in 2017.
