Costco is opening a new location soon in Bend, Oregon, at the southeast corner of Cooley Road and Highway 20. However, this new store won’t increase the number of Costcos in Bend. It will replace the existing store at The Forum Shopping Center, which is just a 15-minute drive away.
The new Costco spans 185,000 square feet and offers features the current location lacks, including a gas station and a car wash. Historical aerial images of the new site date back to the 1950s, showing minimal changes until now. This marks the first major development at this location. The new Costco is expected to open on October 19.
Costco now boasts over 880 locations across approximately 15 countries.
