Pollo Campero to Open New Location in Dallas

Boston Market closed its restaurant on the southwest corner of Central Expressway (U.S. Highway 75) and Forest Lane in Dallas. However, the location won’t stay vacant for long. According to TDLR filings, Pollo Campero will open a new restaurant at the same spot in 2025.

The closed Boston Market at 11717 North Central Expressway was built between 2002 and 2004. It was not the first building at this location. Historical aerial images show a round building that was constructed in 1980.

Pollo Campero, a Guatemalan restaurant specializing in chicken meals, will take over the location. The company, founded in 1971, has approximately 400 locations and its headquarters in Dallas. This new location is expected to be complete by January 2025.
