Construction for a new Asian-themed supermarket, H Mart, is underway at 5000 N Beach Street, Haltom City. Spanning 190,000 square feet, this $20 million construction project marks a significant development in an area previously untouched, despite the growth around it. The store is expected to take 18 months to complete and will be situated at the southeast corner of Beach Street and Interstate 820, anchoring a new shopping center that includes multiple lots. H Mart, a renowned chain operated by the Hanahreum Group, boasts over 100 locations across the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. The Haltom City store will be the third in the DFW area, highlighting this location’s first major development.
