A new project, referred to as White Rhino, will commence at the closed Wendy’s restaurant located at 2025 McDermott Drive in Allen, Texas. This building is a part of the McDermott Commons business center, situated on the southeast corner of the McDermott Drive and Custer Road intersection. The closed Wendy’s, along with the center, was constructed in the early 2000s.
According to project details on the TDLR website, the renovation is expected to be completed by October 2024. White Rhino is also the name of a coffee shop that was founded in Cedar Hill and has 12 locations in the DFW area. Currently, there is no publicly available information confirming whether this former Wendy’s will become a new White Rhino location.
