Irving’s Belt Line Road Boston Market Is Now Permanently Closed

The Boston Market at 2705 N Belt Line Rd is now listed as permanently closed on Google. The struggling fast-casual restaurant has closed multiple stores over the years. In 2023, Boston Market was accused of multiple workplace violations and failure to pay rent for many locations. The restaurant also struggled to pay workers in many Northeast locations and shuttered all its restaurants in the Detroit and Connecticut areas.

Looking at historic aerial images, the building appears sometime in the 1980s. No other major development on the site can be seen going back to 1958. In those days, the Belt Line Road was a two-way rural road. The now-closed Boston Market building is located next to an old Chick-fil-A location, which moved further south to the Irving Mall parking lot.
