This Raley's will be replaced by Target.

The Raley’s in Tahoe Village Center, South Lake Tahoe, California, was temporarily closed due to the roof caving in as a result of heavy snowfall. However, the lease for the store was set to expire in June 2023, and a new retailer has been announced to replace it. Target, the retail giant, has listed a new 63,000-square-foot store on its website, which is set to open in the same location.

This closed Raley’s will be turned into a Target store.

Raley’s operates over 120 stores in California and Nevada.

Tahoe Village Center is located on Lake Tahoe Blvd, within walking distance of the Nevada border. It is a popular destination for tourists, particularly those who enjoy skiing at the nearby Heavenly Mountain Ski Resort and water activities on Lake Tahoe. Target has been opening small-format stores in California and other parts of the US to cater to urban and suburban markets, and this new store in Tahoe Village Center is part of that expansion.
