H-E-B is continuing its expansion into the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex with a new store on the northwest corner of Heritage Trace Parkway and Riverside Drive. The site is to the east of Interstate 35 West, exit 63. This will be the second H-E-B in Tarrant County along with the Mansfield location also under construction. In 2022 H-E-B opened two other stores in Plano and Frisco.

The 1st H-E-B store in Fort Worth is a part of the Alliance Town Center community in north Fort Worth, which has over 41 big-name retailers and 6 residential communities.

H-E-B is a privately held supermarket chain based in San Antonio, Texas. The company was founded in Kerrville, Texas back in 1905 by Florence Butt. Her son, Howard Edward Butt, took over and the supermarket began using his initials as the store’s new name.
